i am very excited to finally be getting back to my zodiac series [with the sign that represents yours truly]. 

- represented by the maiden, the Virgin -
From Latin, Virgo was not meant to imply s e x u a l purity, but rather a self-governing woman.
Free, autonomous, and sovereign.

We find our purpose in every day magic and devotion; in the steady nurturing of others.

as the feminine earth sign, integrating our ultimate mother was the only way to shoot this concept.

Virgos are notorious for being highly analytical [and even over] thinkers, seaux I wanted to play with the wisdom of trees and their branches; particularly with how their beautiful chaos reminds me of the synapses/neural pathways in the human mind.

and as someone with essentially zero water element in my own natal chart, putting Leann right in the middle of a creek was my way of communicating visually that my own emotional nourishment comes from those in my life who do have major water placements [looking pointedly in the direction of my pisces and scorpieaux loved ones].
